Susuwatari

​

Susuwatari is the name of characters from Hayao Miyazaki's film (My neighbor Totoro & Spirited Away). They are identified as "black soot". There are not much description about them but i like how they look with just simple features but have very narrative in them. So I decide to  keep developing their feature and give their more characteristics. 

 

Character development

• They are conscious soot after the ordinary soot has been enchanted.

• They don’t like sun, they usually hiding in the dark.

• They love eating oak fruits.

• They have a fast moving speed.

• They are very friendly but scared of strangers.

 

 

Story and narrative​

​

" Lost in an enchanted forest which has lives many susuwatari. Need their help to guide you through the forest." 

Level one: Susuwatari moving very fast on the screen (randomly), you have 10 seconds to catch them as many as can, or they will run away.

Level two: feed them oak fruits or they will scape. (5 seconds)

Level three: susuwatari guide you through the forest, you have 2 to find the exit.
